How do I go about booking? You can book online at irishferries.com, and get our best fares every time. You can also book by telephone or in person at our ports. Bookings made by telephone or in person at ports include a service fee of €15/£10 for motorist bookings or €5/£5 for foot, cyclist, motorcycle and sail rail bookings.

What information is required to make a booking? Irish Ferries is required by law to record specific details of every passenger travelling on each sailing or on each package holiday. We will record: Full name; Gender; Date of Birth; Country of Nationality; Contact telephone number (for use with service-related issues only) and Special needs or reduced mobility requirements. Your email is required for your booking confirmation.
If you book through a 3rd party (travel agent etc), they will record these details on our behalf.
In addition, if paying by credit / debit card, we require the name and address of the cardholder for bank verification purposes.
Once your booking is paid for and confirmed, you will receive an email booking confirmation with your travel itinerary and booking reference number.
NOTE: Please check your email spam folder in case our email has been filtered from your inbox. You should receive the email confirmation within minutes of your payment confirmation.

Please quote your booking reference, at check-in. Remember, we do not issue a ticket. And your booking is not confirmed for travel until fully paid.
